Holy Week at Wycliffe
Join in worship and reflection as we recall the events of Jesus' week from Palm Sunday's triumphant entry into Jerusalem to his last meal with his disciples, arrest, crucifixion, and Resurrection celebration.

Note that we remember Maundy Thursday and Good Friday with Virginia Beach Christian Church. Maundy Thursday is at VBCC, and the Good Friday service is at Wycliffe. The online meditation is on both Wycliffe's Facebook and YouTube sites.

Blessed is he who comes -
Hosanna!
Celebrate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem with
a festive music and palms! Then walk with Jesus through the week via scripture readings, reflections, hymns, and choral music with guest instrumentalists.

In Remembrance ~
Maundy Thursday Worship
The word 'Maundy' comes to us from the Latin word 'mandatum' - mandate. On this evening in Jesus' last week of his earthly ministry, he celebrates the Passover with his disciples, and in bread and wine commands them to continue this 'meal' and to remember him when they do.

Wycliffe joins with Virginia Beach Christian at 2225 Rose Hall Drive for this time of worship.

"It is finished."
Good Friday Worship
In a Tenebrae Service, Wycliffe recalls the dwindling of the light as Jesus is betrayed, judged, convicted, crucified and laid in the tomb. This solemn service of prayer and scripture offers a time of meditation on Jesus' sacrifice for our sins.
