Our Leadership Teams


Lauren Kirkpatrick / Stephanie Billy

Responsible for promoting and marketing the activities and services of the church to the wider community as a means to increase visitors (e.g., print advertising, developing brochures, signage, other appropriate means). In conjunction with the Pastor, responsible for contacting our visitors, extending a Christian welcome, extending an invitation and promoting the activities of the church. Responsible for promoting and facilitating communications and addressing needs in our foreign outreach efforts.

Christian Service & Missions

Ginny Lambright / Steve Hackney

Responsibility for providing opportunities for the congregation to engage in Christian service in the local community, especially in working with local agencies. Activities include but are not limited to: Samaritan House (Food, Clothing, Christmas Party for the children and funding of special programs for abused women), St Columba (sandwiches once/month, clothing, detergent),Seaman’s House (Magazines, Clothing, hotel toiletries and knitted caps), St Judes Ranch (used greeting cards), Apple Tree School Supplies, Food Pantry, Thanksgiving Baskets, Angel Tree, Christmas Baskets, Red Cross Blood Drives (two/year), Housing Assistance(bill pay assistance), Boy Scouts, Food Closet, Disbursement of Funds to Local Missions (Disaster Relief and Needy Families) and other activities.


Christian Education

Betty Oliver / Dohan Bell

General initiative and oversight in all matters involving Christian Education. Curriculum, scheduling, staff and space for: Church School, Vacation Bible School, Youth Confirmation Classes, Leadership Training, Orientation Classes for New Members, Special Christian Education programs (Christmas pageant, Sunday Fun Day), First Communion Classes, Adult Bible Study, Women's Bible Study, Preparation for Worship class, Oversight of the Church library. Initiative and oversight of youth fellowship programs.


Bill Wahab / Steve Hogan

Responsible for all congregational real estate, including oversight, maintenance and custodial care of church property and buildings. Scheduling and planning workdays.


Thad Brake

Responsible for scheduling and physical arrangements for all receptions, fellowship dinners, picnics, and Sunday morning coffee hours. Provide lunch on workdays as needed. 

Member Care:

Jim Basnight / Fran Florence

Oversight of the Wycliffe Prayer List. General initiative and oversight of lay-pastoral (shepherding) ministry to the congregation. Assimilation of new members. Oversight of the TLC Committee. Maintenance of contact with military and other non resident members. Maintenance of contact with college students and recognition of students and graduations. General initiative and oversight of pictorial directory. Oversight of the prayer chain. Oversight of transportation to worship from retirement communities. Management of the emergency telephone tree.


Kelley Gangwer

Responsible for the morning worship services, including: Flowers, atmosphere, etc.; Special features of worship services (Advent Wreath, Chrismon Tree); Securing and training of ushers for church services. Support the pastor and music director in implementing the music program. Responsible for special worship services (Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, etc.). Responsible for preparation of elements and assignment of Elders to serve Communion.

Administration, Stewardship & Finance:

Bob Prestridge

Responsible for general initiative and oversight of all financial matters. Oversight of church administrative matters. Responsibility for maintaining and periodic review of all contracts and legal documents. Annual review of all salaries, to be coordinated with recommendations from the Personnel committee, prior to preparation of annual budget. Responsibility for the Every Member Canvas.

Planning & Review:

Cathy Maston

Conduct long range planning in support of Wycliffe's mission including identification of long range goals and possible procedures/methods for implementation of accomplishment. Establish procedures for evaluating short/long range goals and ongoing programs. Plan and coordinate Session retreats.
